When a star dies, it can go one of two ways- a supernova, or a black hole. I present to you the embodiment of both of these astral forces... Sotiro- Star's End.
About this creation
"You should see the other guy." -Sotiro
As his element is rather specific and simultaneously rather broad, Sotiro's power has never received a proper title. He has been known as the Star's End, the Nova, the Void, and many other names. As previously implied, Sotiro can harness the powers of a supernova or the capacity of a black hole. However, he must be extremely careful about how he uses these abilities, or else he may destroy himself and reality. When successful use of these powers builds to a crescendo, Sotiro can choose to unleash one of his two signature attacks- the devastating Singularity Fold or the powerful Plasmous Detonator. Despite such destructive power, Sotiro is mild-mannered and calm most of the time, only becoming angered when his allies are endangered, or his power is becoming uncontrollable. Sotiro wields no weapons; after all, if you could create voids and explosions at will, would you waste your time with weapons? He does however wear a modified Kaukau which allows him to breathe in a vacuum.
 Charging energy sphere...
 Preparing to fire...
 And... HAAAA!

This is my June BCBS entry.
He was a bit rushed but I think he's good nonetheless. The Technic-intensive designs of the forearms and body slightly contrast with the designs of the legs, et cetera, but I think that actually aids the two-power feel.

Then the mass decides whether it will become a neuron star or a black hole (most massive). Smaller stars to medium stars don't die in a supernova. They become white dwarfs. Sorry about that. I had to correct you."
So there's that to think on, too.

I definitely like this creation, the structuring and everything is excellent. Also the color scheme is a tad more rare, it's not too common to have orange as the minor color along with black. Glad that someone else also pointed the alternative ways of a star dying. Our own sun will eventually just burst out it's gas to leave behind it's core, a white dwarf, which in time cools down into a brown dwarf. |
