Artificial Intelligence Control Room
Behold, the Artificial Intelligence. This design holds several important points that could be used elsewhere, including the ability to reach everything easily, and being able to control the master program with no difficulty. I tried to make it as clean as possible with as much greebling and such as I could, and I think I did a pretty good job. While the other designs have a clean dashboard with not much circuitry or anything else throughout the MOC, I added tubes, communication links, pressure valves, and several other pieces of machinery that are now attached to the walls. I hope you like it.
About this creation
This was built for the Final Countdown here:[link]http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/20870

Say hello to the main dashboard. In front of a comfortable seat sits several important controls for communicating and controlling the AI. I also added a high-tech computer with a special monitor and a small communication tower for sending messages throughout the future design.

This is the AI itself. It was a very complicated design, and I had several ideas for where it should sit. In the end, I made it into the shape of an eye that sits directly above the controls. Several important tubes run around it.

Another shot of the controls.

This is a small communications panel that looks rather strange among the rest of the MOC. The colors don’t fit, but oh well. This serves a very important part in sending the AI throughout the rest of the ship without interference.

A shot of the communications tower. This little thing is the mouth of the AI, pretty much. It sends the thoughts and information from the main AI program straight to the computer in the room or throughout the ship.

A large tube sends power out of the AI room and to other parts in the ship.

This computer is a massive part pf the AI room, and it’s high-tech interface is the only thing that involves experience. It is the main source for the AI thoughts to go. Whenever information comes from the communications tower, it goes straight to this first. This computer has a light blue screen attached to it, which is useful for remembering things and for storing information. It can be written upon, and it can also be unattached. Both screens are highly advanced, and using them involves permission. No lowly engineer can just get on and play with these computers. Please note: This is NOT overhanging, it just looks like it is because of the perspective.

Finally, the comfy chair. I had an EPIC design for this, but it made it too big to be fit here. Perhaps I will use it in future builds…

The doorway. There has to be someway to get in, of course. I would have loved to make a blast door for security, but there wasn’t enough room. I have failed you there, but it will not happen again.

Now we shall focus on the catwalk. This section is commonly used by engineers looking to fix a bug in the wires. Panels and tubes line the walls, and a small power outlet with a large shutoff valve is attached along the catwalk. The catwalk is rather small, but I kept it safe so no incidents would occur.

The other side. A panel with a small porthole reveals that a large power tube runs through this section of the wall. This particular panel is under higher security with a lock.

The whole MOC again. I will let the pictures explain themselves sin more detail now. Enjoy!

It looks great! I like how it seems so small. This gives a feeling of being in a hurry, ready for disaster to strike. I love this mood that it sets. The floor is well made. The use of grilles is excellent. Now...you may know that I like NPU. So some pieces should be replaced. This: http://peeron.com/inv/parts/57893 should be replaced with some Lightsaber blades and thin tubing. The railings should also be made of other pieces. Other than that, it's fantastic.

Quoting Fritz K Jeez...this is awesome! I love all of the gizmos and gadgets you've thrown on there, Netro! Great job! (Also, what's your real name so I can call you that?)
Thanks! The only time I would probably tell you my real name is if I knew you in real life, witch I don't. I guess you could call me Jay if you wish, but I prefer Netro online.

Wow! You've got yourself some pretty impressive work! I see you've listed yourself as a child fan of Lego, and if you're starting like this, then you are sure to go places. I looked through several of your moc's, and you've got good good skills already. And, you all ready can take good photo's of your builds, which many younger fans struggle with. Keep developing your personal style, and there'll be even more impressive stuff to come from you!

Quoting Michael Rutherford Crewman Netro. Excellent! Two facts up front. First, it was submitted in time. You have until midnight on the deadline. That would be midnight tonight. Second, the catwalk is not an overhang because it is INSIDE the footprint of the MOC. Overhang only refers to things that protrude beyond the authorized foot print. So again, you are AOK. As for the MOC itself, its terrific. Very tight, almost claustrophobic. Like a submarine. I find the odd door shape to be both unique and cool. I like the big blue screen and I am especially taken with the 1x4 trans-blue tile held aloft next to the interface station. Very slick. Well done! This brings our AI design count up to 10! Tomorrow morning EXCOM will announce which design will be selected, but you have already secured a spot on the crew roster. Well done!
Thank you! I spent a little too much time on this, hopefully I will be able to even that time down to get these done faster.

Quoting mark aarons(police patrol) Its awesome but one thing I think the cat walk counts as an overhang
No, an overhang is something thast hangs over the base of the MOC.

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Really superb, I like that it looks very realistic! Unfortunately, I think the deadline might have passed. When Mr. Rutherford says that the deadline's Monday he means that it must be posted before it becomes Monday, I think. Hopefully I'm wrong though, as this would make an excellent addition to the AI challenge!
He said any time before midnight on Monday, so hopefully Im good.
