A four-armed warrior which combined a desire to utilize previous design techniques and the ability to pack a minifigure into as small of a space as possible.
About this creation
Nicknamed obviously for its four-armed similarity to the Indian god, the ECM05/a combined previous personal armored suit design with a new powerful frame to deliver a compact, maneuverability and menacing machine.
This enhanced Combat-Mate or EC-MATE showed itself to be a reckon-able force in urban conflict, capable of navigating complex terrain and drastic changes in elevation through direct pilot stimulation and interaction. The resemblance to the god Vishnu becomes even more apparent with the front two arms being physically manipulated by the arms of the pilot, while the much larger rear arms act as virtual aids to the physical ones, providing augmented power for heavy lifting. An array of weaponry can be carried by the ECM05, but is typically limited to one specific weapon with little to no add-on equipment and electronics.
"Vishnu" pilots typically, on average, have elevated mental activity and intrinsic knowledge of fluidity of motion and power. Many surprisingly resent the use of overwhelming power against adversaries who are often not nearly as well equipped.
I've wanted to do a build based off the GITS "Type 303" design for a while now and figured I'd do so after finding a way to squeeze a minifig into as small of a chassis as possible while building the "White Crab."
The EC-M's pilot cab is much different, but still opens for access and holds the pilot in much the same way. Obviously, I could make it much smaller, but this was the size I wanted.
