Here is my lego model of the UNSC Savannah, seen in the Halo: Reach mission 'Long Night of Solace'. I took me about 3 days to perfect, and the Chief figure took a lot of trial and error. I originally had him a goldish green, but I thought an army green would look better. I got the custom armour pieces from Brickforge. Each piece of the ship is original lego, no modified pieces, and I added a few decals as a last minute touch. I personally don't tend to keep my lego models, and usually take them apart after a few months, to build other models, but I think this baby will last a lot longer :)
About this creation
This is the main view. The stand allows the ship to tilt upwards, or lie horizontally.
I also attached a stand for the Chief, much like my other model of the Normandy.
Here is a rear view of the ship, you can see the engines. I added a clear stud on
a transparent orange stud, to make it seem like the ship is actually in motion.
Side view, you can see the custom 'UNSC' logo decal on the wing. I simply
printed the logo onto a label sheet, then cut out the shape from the label
and stuck it on the 2x2 tile piece.
Front view, here is the custom "SAVANNAH" decal, made the same way
as the UNSC decal.
Overhead shot of the back. You can see the bridge, with the satellite piece.
I thought that was a nice detail to add in.
My custom Master Chief minifigure, with painted armour and Reach Assualt rifle.
I used an actual Chief figure as a reference for the armour detail, and I used a
fine line pen to draw the detail once the paint had dried.
This took a lot of work and I think he turned out pretty good.

I love the small Savannah! I prefer it to the large ones on this site.
I'd love to make this. Do you have instructions or a parts list?
Thanks
