Artemis-System: Interceptors

The Edison is equipped with an artemis defense- and interception-system to protect the fleet and itself from incomming torpedos or projectiles. The artemis system consists of two parts. The actual interceptors (launching high energic rounds) and an electronic warfare system to prevent enemy target-locks and jamming scanner signals. Therefor the system uses two very powerful round antennas (mountet on each side of the ship).

Sublight engines

Capricorn-class escorts aren't the best choice when it comes to attack other ships, but they are excellent defenders. Therefor they rely mostly on their artemis system. But this doesn't mean, that they are completely useless when it comes to a close combat with bigger ships. With their heavy particle canon these small vessels can do some serious damage to an enemy ship.

Now there's a very nice micro! Love the look and colour choices! Reminds me of se concept art from an old National Geographics book I have, dhat they thought space travel would be like in the future.
