EXCOM reports:MARDETCOM submitted one of several inevitable (and dreaded) reports at the mid-day staff meeting today.
REPORT: Food Theft (Galley, 0745AM)
SYNOPSIS:
At 0745, this AM, Ships Chief Steward Robouchon called MARDET to report disruption of the 2nd morning meal shift. MARDET patrol arrived 0748 and collected following information.
One adult male survivor (ID # recorded and withheld) was observed taking food from the plate of one adult female survivor (ID # recorded and withheld) against her express wishes. Five witnesses provided sworn statements to this effect (ID #s recorded and withheld).
ACTIONS TAKEN:
When MARDET patrol approached the perpetrator, with the intent to discuss their findings, he became belligerent and apparently lost his balance, falling and bumping his head on one of the marines rifle butts. After a careful and thorough inspection, the weapon was found to be unharmed, and the perpetrator was stored in a 55 gallon drum next to the latrine pit. He is there now, pending your instructions.
RECCOMENDATIONS:
Recommend we find some drums with no caustic chemical residue. Handling these drums poses a slight contamination threat to MARDET personnel.
Also recommend you ensure installation of the new head ASAP. A real head will provide better hygiene opportunities for MARDET personnel who always need to wash hands after handling prisoners.
REPORT ENDS
If we don’t develop an efficient way to handle these minor offenders, it will cost us build time. And we don’t have a single day we can lose!
I’ll give CSM Straker this: He obviously enjoys his work…

Spaceman Netro. The pace at which you are cranking these things out is impressive! Being an adult with children, having this kind of building time is a distant, very distant, memory. I don't a whole lot wrong with this, except no coffee cup holder or terminal. The rest looks pretty spec strong! Well done! |

Awesome! The way you layered it with the ladder leading down is great, it reminds me of my old building style. (Of course, you did this far better than I would have.) Superb work! |
