A sublight aerospace fighter used in many roles.
About this creation
The TRM-3N is the newest iteration of the Terran Confederation's oldest starfighter. Originally designed in 2133, it was Grumman-Koch Heavy Industries' largest military contract at the time incorporating cutting edge technologies. Predating Humanity's fist forays into faster-than-light travel, Terminators have served with distinction for more than five decades.


The TRM-3N is well armed with four wing-mounted RA SLT-125 repeating autocannons and a pair of RPM SLT-300 mass drivers in the nose. Additionally, the 3N variant carries eight concussion torpedoes--two more than its predecessor the 3K. This is especially important because Terminators are not known for their speed or agility.


The modern Terminator is rugged enough for most non-military needs despite not being blessed with exceptional armor or shields. Lacking jump capabilities, Terminators are relatively simple machines. This fact and the ubiquity of available spare parts is appreciated by the ground crews that service them.


Terminators can be found in most Terran sub-light defense forces as well as many mercenary units and almost all peacekeeping forces. While no longer useful for direct military action, it is expected that this ubiquitous fighter will be a common sight for decades to come.
