Engine Co. 1 was established in 1923 when the Portage Lego VFD was formed before becoming Portage Lego Fire Department. Engine Co. 1 is the oldest Engine Co. in the entire company and still proudly serves the downtown area. Engine Co. 1 has gone through many different Engines from the time it was established. The original Engine Co. 1 engine is in the Portage Lego Fire Museum next to Headquarters. Engine Co. 1 operates a 2012 Seagrave Marauder II 8 Man Split Cab with a 1500 GPM Pump, 500 Gallon Water Tank, Carries 1500ft of 5 inch large diameter hose, and multiple firefighting tools. Engine Co. 1 is still housed at the Liberty St. Station to this day.

Beautiful looking engine! I like the history of it that you gave. I like the big wheels on this rig. Good luck with the new rig!
Thanks, Engine Co 1 is sure the oldest Co. in the Dept. Engine Co. 2 is about 50% complete at this time. I'm hoping to have it done by the weekend.
LFM, Thanks. If I had enough pieces I would go 8 wide but I am limited. It took alot of thought to make the move to the big wheels as building with the bigger wheels takes more pieces than the smaller wheels.
