About this creation

This tower was built for Brickworld Chicago. When I learned myself and two of the four guild leaders were attending Brickworld, I reserved some space for a display. I volunteered to make something to represent Kaliphlin after I realized we would have a watchtower for every guild except for Kaliphlin.

This was the last of the four guild watchtowers to be made and I built like mad to finish it in time (I built the last two towers in about 3 days). It may very well have turned out to be the best of the four.

Check out the Mitgardian, Nocturnus and Avalonian towers too!

The Avalonian tower was an octagon, the Mitgardian tower was a square and the Nocturnus tower was ummm... "spikey" so I went with a round design for this last tower. Always a challenge to do with square bricks, but it turned out fairly well.

Also, I tried to incorporate more color than in the other builds, and add some decoration because it seemed more... desert-y.... I think the color combos worked out overall.

this is an awesome build. I think your colors work well together, but I think that the shapes you used are just as impressive.

Beautiful work Zcerb, thanks for representing our guild at BW! :) The tiled tower is a great look, i'll have to try it sometime. Also, those Eomer torsos work really well as Kaliphlin gaurds.

Quoting Justin L. Congratz, you successfully achieved that desert-y look you were going for. How did you do the round tower?

Two x 9 sections of the big tank tread with technic beams interlaced. You can google tank tread tower Lego and find a versions. Added some of my own enhancements to make it rock even more.
