The Jedi Temple, one week after the events in Bloodlines 2.
About this creation
It was late on Tython, a time when most Jedi were sleeping soundly in their quarters. Harash Soru however, was still awake, his eyes scanning the holo-books of the great library for any reference to the Sith race.
From his studies Hara had learned that there was no official declaration of the extinction of the species. This, along with reported sightings that spanned several thousand years was enough to confirm Hara's suspiscions that a secret cult of the species had survived, and one of those members was Rovaniss himself.
Dana Kowls: "Your wife has asked me if you are ever planning on going back to bed."
Hara jumped slightly as his former Padawan suddenly broke his concentration. He looked around, suddenly realising the time.
Harash Soru: "It seems I lost track of time."
Dana sat down beside her former Master and smiled.
Dana Kowls: "You're worried."
Harash Soru: "Yes. This Rovaniss, he has potential to be incredibly deadly. I have to find a way of stopping him."
Dana Kowls: "True. But we have an entire Jedi Order to do that. You are not alone Hara, remember that."
Dana stood up and placed a hand on her Master's shoulder.
Dana Kowls: "Besides. If Rovaniss comes knocking tomorrow you wont be able to defeat him without a good nights sleep."
Hara smiled as his friend turned and began to leave the library.
Harash Soru: "Tell Nay I'll be up in a little while."
Fininshing the last book Hara slid the record back into their places on the shelf. He blinked the sleep out of his eyes and headed for bed.
When he turned round however, a ghostly figure was blocking his path.
Harash Soru: "Michael! I... I haven't seen you since I defeated Levid!"
Michael Kringe: "Hello Hara, its good to see you again my friend."
Harash Soru: "I thought you had left me."
Michael Kringe: "Yes so did I. With Levid dead the Galaxy was safe to leave under your protection until Luke was ready. None of us saw this new threat coming."
Harash Soru: "So you are here to help me?"
Michael Kringe: "One last time yes. But not in the way you think. My spirit is old Hara, I am merely here to pass on my life Force to the spirit of another."
Harash Soru: "I don't understand."
Michael Kringe: "You will. Farewell Hara, you truly are one of the greatest Jedi I have ever known."
Hara watched as Michael's spirit faded slowly away.
Harash Soru: "Master?"
From behind him someone coughed softly.
Once more Hara turned around and gasped at the sight of the spirit of his old Master stood before him.
Harash Soru: "Master Michel!"
Michel Kringe: "Hello Hara."
Harash Soru: "How are you here?"
Michel Kringe: "I surrendered myself to the Force when I died Hara. In turn it left me open to spirits such as that of Master Michael. He used the last of his power to bring me back so that I might communicate with you."
Harash Soru: "So you will help me?"
Michel Kringe: "Yes, but on one condition. There is a link between your family and mine. It is our unwritten duties to ensure that the Force survivs in both our families. If I am to help you, you must first go to Balmorra and seek out my sister, E'ss Kringe. She has a daughter who is strong in the Force, she must trained."
Hara grinned at the spirit of his Master.
Harash Soru: "So you would let the Galaxy burn if I don't train her? Thats not a very Jedi thing to do."
Michel Kringe: "I was never a very good Jedi anyway."
Hara looked down as a spark of lightning tingled along his fingers.
Harash Soru: "No. I suppose I'm not either."
Balmorra, two days later.
Harash Soru: "Excuse me? Is this the home of E'ss Kringe?"
E'ss Kringe: "Yes, I am E'ss. What is it that you want stranger?"
Hara shook E'ss' hand.
Harash Soru: "Mrs Kringe I am Jedi Master Harash Soru. I am here about your daughter."
E'ss Kringe: "Yes. I think you should come inside."
E'ss offered Hara a seat but the Jedi declined, preffering to stand.
E'ss Kringe: "She always dreamt of being a Jedi, like her Uncle."
Harash Soru: "Michel was my Master, I am sorry for his loss."
E'ss Kringe: "You knew him better than I did. Jedi aren't allowed to talk to family."
Harash Soru: "That rule has changed. We may now see our families and even marry should we chose to."
The door opened and a young, attractive blonde girl walked in.
Mary Kringe: "Mum? Who's this?"
Harash Soru: "Mary, I am Jedi Master Harash Soru. I am here to offer you a place in my Jedi Order, should you wish to accept it."
Mary's eyes lit up as she looked at her mother.
E'ss Kringe: "The choice is yours Mary. I was against it because I did not want to lose you. But now I have learnt that that is not the case."
Mary Kringe: "I can still see my mother?"
Harash Soru: "Of course."
Mary smiled and took Hara's outstretched hand.
Mary Kringe: "Then I gratefully accept your offer Master Soru."
The Jedi Temple, one week later.
Harash Soru: "How are you finding life as a Jedi Mary?"
Mary Kringe: "I am enjoying it hugely Master Soru. Thank you for the opportunity, I..."
A shout suddenly cut off Mary's words.
Quino Loskin: "Master Soru!"
Harash Soru: "What is it Quino?"
Quino Loskin: "Naboo is contacting us, they are reporting disappearances and sabotage similar to that seen on Bothawui!"
Another great comic Harry! I would very much appreciate it if you would make me a minifig in your amazing comics. I would prefer to be a Force-Sensitive Ex-Stormtrooper that deserted the Empire. Thanks Harry!
Redge, Michael is an ancestor of Michel and Yoda's old master. They are both my sig figs, but I can't have 2 at the same time so we decided to choose Michel. Thanks for putting the other Kringes in there, Harry! (I guess I Have to show this episode to my sister :P) Also it's great to see that Michel's ghost didn't lose his sense of humor. ;)
Sweet!I like how in the end Hara goes ..."Rovaniss".I used to think Michel and Michael Kringe were the same person even if the names were slightly different.I was wrong I guess. Is Michel the father of Michael Kringe or something?
