The Creature in the Pit (Return to Venus part 4)

There is still trouble on Venus. The team are checking out what they think is a natural fissure - how wrong they are. Blue and Yellow are trapped on the wrong side of the crack, whilst Red with the sample collector radios for back-up.

Aaaaagh! The giant nobbly claws! The huge white teeth! The shining yellow eyes! I wonder if Red can suck it into the sample hoover machine and rescue everyone? Brilliant fun! I'm really enjoying this colouful & creative series. Thank you!

The pit is very well done. Also a nice job on the giant vacuum cleaner. You definitely keep us guessing with what's going to happen next.
This was all about building a pit; the key was keeping the back wall black for the shadows.
