Draggonne Picket Ship
The Brutal and Infamous Draggonne bare their fangs at our illustrious heros of GAIA.
About this creation

Draggonne Picket Ships are frigate sized Draggonne vessels that pack a nasty punch. Featuring a plasma beam cutter cannon on each wing, and a pair of beam splitter cannons, these ships are very formidable opponents.

The Splitter Beam cannon turret fire a single beam that runs through a four way splitter. Each beam aims at the tip of the cannon's "fangs", which refocuses the beams to make a devastating quadruple blast from a single shot.

The Plasma Beam Cutter Cannons are mounted to the front of the engine pods under the foreward wings. In order to fire the Cannon, power from the engine is instead funneled into the firing chamber, producing a very powerful, intense beam of boiling plasma to be generated.

These ships are fast, but they lack sufficient manuverability to match that speed. A standard tactic is a line charge, making use of all that firepower and speed, but if the target manages to dodge, they are vulnerable until they can line up for another pass.

CREATOR'S NOTES:

I've been doing a lot of doodles lately, no real intent behind them. This one turned out rather well, yes?

Wow, this ship looks like pure evil! I think it was the lime green claws that did it, but everything on this turned out well. Excellent work!

Quoting Marc "Edge" R.unde Wow! 'Cute' little Draggone ship. The organic shapes work really well and nicely thought out weaponry. You should also add this one here: http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/15107 ~Marc
Thanks for the invite! I will definitely look into building more Draggonne ships.

Yes, this turned out rather well. I like all the curves to the hull. Makes it look decidedly alien. The bright green really jumps off of the black. I also like the different look to the bridge on this one. Well done.
