Bought from boston in 1992 as a 1973 maxim, and was refurbed before having a new aerial trailer put on in 2001. Broke down in 2002 and the cab was given to the museum, the aerial trailer was sold to the VCFD.
About this creation
The last photo is of Boston's 1973 Maxim. This rig was bought off of them in 1992, when maxim had officialy closed down. In 1992, in real life, the last Maxim was made, and, back to legos, we sent this rig to them (in 1992) for it to be refurbed. In 2001, the Aerial Trailer was swapped with a brand new American LaFrance one. In 2002, the rig broke down, and new motors for it would be pricey, so the cab was sent to the museum and the aerial tractor was sold to the Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD). They still use the Aerial Tractor to this day. Credit to westbrickwichfire (Anthony V) for most of the cab design. Credit to legonerd500 (legonerd 500) for the ladder design. The rest is my design.
