CH-52 Cargo Helicopter
About this creation
This is my CH-52. I built it in the intrest of being able to land large amounts of troops/vehicles in remote areas. It has been slowly growing since it's creation in 2005. It has been used in a number of operations and large scale rescues. It has a regular crew of three; pilot, co-pilot, and loading officer. is is not normally armed, but it can have MGs placed in windows on the side and doors.

A front right shot. Note the pilot and the folding steps. The engine is in the upper right.

The front left. Note the co-pilot and the large cargo door on the side.

A better picture of the cargo door and engine. There is a folding winch over the door mounted on the engine. A wheel pontoon is in the lower left of the picture.

The rear door. It can be lowered to allow 6 wide vehicles to drive into the cargo compartment.

The cargo hold. It is a lot roomier than it looks and can hold my two jeeps with full crews.

My rescue interior. It can hold four critical patients and about 8-10 evacuees. While this insert is in, it can still hold a rescue quad in the front compartment.

the helicopter itself needs some work,a side view pic would have made it obvious, but nothing can take away from the cargo concept, with interchangeable modules,it s brilliant! and also very exclusive! i don t plan on reenforcing my swat team any further!

I want to thank you for your many Comments. They have been the means of many changes. It is a bit longer, and I have made the rotors longer, changing the tail and yes, it is a CH-53 Sea Stallion/PAVE LOW

verry good it just needs one improvment the cokpit is bad but then its really good and if you put some wings rip the baldes off and put a tail and jet then you got your self a great military cargo plane>

doesnt look to be the size (compared to minifigs) of the real thing. an alternate cockpit might make it look better too

The only tiny flaw I found was that the rotor arms aren't long enough for the size of the chopper, other than that, it's a brilliant helicopter!
