I've been trying to build smaller things lately as an exercise. I came across these dishes and realized they'd be a perfect base for a hoverbike. I played around with the idea for awhile, and decided to further the experiment by building different designs based on real world motorcycles. With that in mind, I covered suberbikes, choppers, touring, and motocross. I had a lot of fun working this out, and with the limited part count, I had to really work to come up with ways to do things differently from style to style.

A great collection of colourful MOCs. I like how they follow a pattern but each one is subtlety different. My favourite is the last one, in the Classic Space colour scheme. |

Really cool designs. I am most impressed by your take on an age old idea. Building them all around that dish type technology is brilliant. So many great variants that it feels realized. Great builds. ~cheers |

Love these, especially the way you preserve the soul of the differnt bike types as you hoverize them. The chopper is great! The only thing I'd like to see (no idea how you'd build this) would be some of those ridiculous "monkey bar" handles for the chopper. But ace designs, all around!
Hey thanks! You're totally right that some ape hangers would be perfect for the chopper, but I'm not sure how to best represent them. |

Hee, I just had an image of a certain robot fooling around on one of these. And crashing. Amazing builds, very creative. I have the X-Pod lids, so I often toyed with stuff like this, but never got a good enough result. However, you capture fine detail with minifig scale, love these things. |

Great, I like the different designs and their own unique colour schemes. The detail on these is amazing, all the pipe-work and lights really bring this alive! |

Thanks guys! Yeah, when I was building them, I couldn't stop thinking about how much fun it would be to tool around on one of these. |

Cool design, and I like the variety. I could see myself racing those puppies around in a Bladerunner type city. |
