Googie-style US gas station from 1959.
About this creation
Inspired by Jack Colkers station in Beverly Hills, CA.
I know that the Union-76 logo should be more orange, but can´t do the rest of the shop in that accent-colour. (The red logo appeared in the 70´ies)
Part of the MegaMOC 2012.

Please note that I swapped the title-photo at the last moment, and that it is in low resolution. The two next ones are in high resolution, though, so feel free to click on them!

A couple of details, sorry for the crooked angles and fuzzy focus...

Bonus photo of the real thing;

Thanks for watching, rating and commenting! :-)

I'm impressed by your mad skills. The curves on the roof and the cars are just astounding. And the background helps the ambiance, too.

Nice, now I see what you needed those cars for. The gas station looks really good, I love the slanted roof, can we get some pictures of how that is done? I have an idea but I want to see if I am right. This must have taken a long time to build, you should be proud!

Henrick, although the whole Moc is a little "bricky" for my taste, the canopy design is award winning, as is the attention to detail, very cool!

Quoting Daniel Brilliant Amazingly well done. What an iconic and unusual structure. That curved roof is fantastic and it is good to see those classic cars of yours put to good use. Is this part of a larger project, because you have way more cars made than would fit on this gas station.
Thanks! Yes, this will be part of a 4 (5) meter long display.
