Carona Canary
About this creation
Meet Carona Canary the first in my new Tropical Bird Series

My LEGO Bird Project has now reached 2,000 out of the 10,000 required supporters and as promised here is the first in my new series of birds.

I think Canaries are incredibly cute and I love their bright yellow feathers.

They originate from The Canary Islands and are very popular birds to keep in aviaries.

I have given Carona a nice new wing design, what do you think?

I hope you like Carona if you do please help me and follow the link to support the LEGO Bird Project over on CUUSOO

You, sir, are an amazing bird builder! This has to be one of my favorites of yours though. It looks so realistic! The wings look great in both positions. Keep it up!

Quoting Lego Builders Great work, Tom P! I love the shaping that you've done here. It looks (as far as colors go) a tad bland compared to your other birds. But I suppose it should be that way. I'm no birder. ;-) Have you seen The Big Year movie? I saw it a few weeks ago, and thanks to you I was able to recognize some birds in it. I hope I am not bugging you too much but will it be fine with you if I go ahead and replace the woodpecker on the collage with your Rodney bird (so that the background looks better)? I will use the white frames since you prefer that one. A properly great creation - can't wait to buy your sets. ;-) 5/5 -LB Jr.
Hey LB! Thanks for all your support and help and sorry I've not been back in touch, I've been incredibly busy with work and Bird building. Feel free to change the collage if you can. I'm going to use it for my website that I'm building at the moment :-)

Quoting Cars Lover An other great bird, do you sold them or what do you do with these birds?
I am considering taking commissions for my Bird designs. All my birds are still alive and I will never break them apart, the flock is increasing I built two new birds last night (they're lovely):-)

I do plan on building some birds of prey, but not just yet, I have far too many other birds I'd like to build first but a Buzzard will be high on the list when I do.! Thanks for your comment!
