Kopet the Breezer Geezer - Bio Cup 2012 - R1 - vs Magic Number 3
About this creation
Kopet was once a ko-matoran who used his brains for his sheer desire to invent gadgets. Aside brains he also possessed stamina and it wasn't long before he became a toa after receiving a toa stone. Even as a toa, he kept inventing and upgrading equipment and eventually took his most valuable invention to use. Most valuable by his own measure atleast: The heli-pack.

A backpack containing an energy supply system and a rotor, the heli-pack allowed the toa of ice to take over the skies, which was a tactical advancement in any battle, however he was easy to notice as the pack wasn't very quiet. The two exhaust ports coming out the pack prevent him from spinning out of control, aswell give propulsion.

Equipped with two ice shard pistols, invented by himself of course, Kopet took over the skies as a powerful protector of peace to his people.

"This is round 1. But if this round came after an elimination round, wouldn't that make this round 2?" *philosoraptor mode*

Well, I actually had to tip over my lightbox to gain enough tall background to photoshoot this guy on, so don't wonder the bad background setting. I just covered the new bottom with some printing paper.

I still have to wonder when we'll go buy a new computer for me. The current programs in my borrowed computer aren't the best for editing photos and I don't want to download too much. Until then my pictures will be more grayish.

My category was #8 for this round, A Flying toa/hero. I first considered making a skyboard, but then I decided to take to a different direction, with a toa having a heli-pack. In the build I tried to have a similar style to that of Galaxus', with bulky legs and whatnot. However it does limit posability, which isn't that much to my liking, but I went with it. I wish good luck to my dear opponent Magic Number 3. Oh yeah, to avoid confusion, this guy is precisely 25cm tall from head to toe. As far as I recall the limit did not consider equipment/extensions. The guy was actually first 30cm tall, but I'm glad I noticed the error and fixed it by shortening his thighs and body, which sadly, again, limited the posability of the waist.

I hope you like this creation and leave some commentary and rates. I wish good luck to each contestant in the Bio Cup 2012. May the best builder win.

PS. Forgot to mention, I made a gear connection in the heli-pack, so the rotor actually spins by spinning the gear on the pack's side. =)

Cool idea, but a little too many colors for my taste. I voted for your opponent. Best of luck with the other judges.

Great work! It's good you haven't decided to make a skyboard for him, because this is much more more interesting! He has also some fantastic arm-guns! Good luck in the contest!

Wow, this guy looks EPIC! Like a combination of Rotor and Nuju! The pictures are way to bright though :(
