This is the third or fourth version of this fortress. It is designed to span a cove so the only entrance in or out of the cove is through the center of the harbor. There are two dock sections that raise and lower to allow ships to pass through.
The side of the harbor with the larger fortress also features and armory and a large storehouse, and a boat house underneath the fortress sections.
The side of the harbor with the smaller fortress also features a large jail house/stockade.
There are probably 45-55 troops Garrisoning The fortress. Here is an a couple overviews of the entire Fortress.
One Thing I tried to do was ensure there was a lot of playability. I made pretty much all of the levels removable to access lower levels and I also made most of the roofs magnetic so they are easy to remove!
The larger fortress section features a boathouse underneath the opening and a tall tower with a flaming light tower to prevent any hapless boat from crashing into fortress or the rocks near by. Each room in the tower has a complete interior as well. The larger fortress is armed with 9 Lego (r) cannons on the lower level and 10 MOC cannons on the upper level.
Here is Governor Block at the larger fortess
The eternal flame of the larger tower!
And now, some of the interior levels.
The roof on the top of the light tower is removable. It is magnetic so it comes off easily, but stays in place very well when it is put back on.
Here is the interior of the second level of the fortress.
Here is the interior of the lowest level in the tower. There is a little bird cage, a table, two lamps and some weapon storage in here.
The lower level of the fortress features a boat house for a pair of row boats. It is located on the interior side of the fortress, so no cannons are required at that location.
The armory sits behind the larger fortress. It has a lower level with a weapons cache, an upper level were the master at arms keeps his quarters and an attic with some additional storage for rarely used items.
The roof on the armory is also magnetic, so it is easy to remove. Just some random storage up top.
Here is the master at arms quarters. There is a bed, a desk, a night table, two lamps and a card table in here.
This is the lower armory level.
There are muskets, pistols and cutlasses stored in here in case the Bricktish need to rearm while fighting off Spanish or Pirate foe!
I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT'S LEGOS! It is so detailed! I really like it. Keep up the good work.
I like it

THERE ARE TIMES WHEN A LEGEND IS BORN. THE LEGEND HAS THE ABILITY TO USE THE FORCE WITH BUILDING IN LEGO. THIS PERSON IS GIFTED WITH INSIDE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HOW LEGOS TRULY WORK. THE ARCHITECT HERE IS NOTHING LESS THAN A LEGEND.
Wow, what a beauty! It brings a tear to me eye.
The model, I mean its so well done, its like perfect. Everything could easily fit in with the old pirate sets. Theres only one word to describe it and thats: OUTSTANDING!
HOLLY crop that is amazing i dont know how much you spent on it but it was well spent that is the most realistic lego i have ever seen. it is also the best lego i have ever seen. (believe me ive seen a lot) GRET JOBBY!
This is a really wonderful MOC. I think you use nice exterior details, I like your overall layout, and the interiors (and the nifty magnetic seals for the floor/roof sections) are an unexpected touch. Outstanding.
This is really amazing and inspiring. Did you use a program to design this or just by hand? This is really astounding....I would pay good money to get my hands on instructions and part lists of how to build it myself. It is inspiring thanks for sharing it.
