The Federation commissioned the BTR-99 in an effort to upgrade their amphibious assault capabilities with an IFV larger than the BTR-90.
About this creation

The Walleye's specs:
Crew: 3+15
Armament:
-1x 30mm autocannon
-2x ATGM pack
Optics: Night, comprehensive (commander)
Fording: Amphibious

The BTR099 can swim for an amazing 3.5 nmi without having problems, but operations are usually conducted much closer to shore.

On the MOC itself, this is the first time I've attempted suspension of any kind. I must admit that it does help the playability!

Features: Commander's surveillance port in the rear, escape hatch top, hatch on turret top.

C&C welcome!

Quoting Colin Small is a TFOL Awesome! I wish I had enough LEGO Bricks to build these things. Do you organise your collection? If so, can I see how you organise them?
Alphabetically according to brick dimension. Nah, just by color, and sizes within color.

Good work on the camo and color selection. Being an amphibious vehicle I would imagine it in swampy areas and the colors suit it. I would have like to see some pictures with water though.

I love it. reminds me kinda of the Lego Creator Sets. Sweet. You should make an action vignette with it once.

Excellent work!, the Turret looks very 'real' and the body work also, the addition of suspension is a great idea and for me, the 'camouflage' colour scheme really works!

Turret looks a little odd, but I couldn't do any better. Eight wheels are best wheels.
