The first capitol ship designed by the Galactic Directorate Federation.
About this creation
The first of its class, A small capitol ship designed by the GDF. Its size makes it tactically advantageous for use as a support ship or a border patrol cruiser. The ship is outfitted with medium space armor and twin rotating cannons. The cannons were a "borrowed" technology, but were improved through the GDF's tactical scientists. The sensor array/communications system is located 2/3 down the hull of the ship. The two engines off the sides of the ship allow it to access the GDF's Subspace Node network, allowing it to reach far distances between nodes. the engines also work very well on their own, due to the top notch engineering crew on board.
The exterior airlock. The door itself swings open and underneath is a boarding ramp. All doorways in the ship are standard moonbase arches. The exterior door is not a standard moonbase, because this class of ship was designed before the implementation of the moonbase airlock on all GDF capitol ships. The pods located on either side of the airlock door (and on the opposite side of the hull) contain materials used in the ship's onboard replicator and food systems, they also have Hydrogen and Oxygen tanks.
The overhead view of the fully outfitted interior shows how the main hallway connects the Bridge to the Storage area, the Rec Room, and the Hangar. There is a large exterior door that extends the landing platform of the hangar. There is an interior airlock door too keep the air pressurized.
The proud crew of the Cyclone. Under the command of Captain Clayton Roberts, affectionately known by the crew as Captain C. The ship boasts one of the finest medical officers in all of the Directorate. The Chief Engineer (with the beard.) is known for his revolutionary engine specs. His designs have made GDF engineering precedents on all GDF ships. The other five crewmen are top of their fields, and well equipped for the challenges that they might face while serving on the Cyclone. The Android, part of the Artificial Life Form Tactical Training Initiative, or ATI, is learning command structure and ship systems.
