My home lost electricity on Friday night. Over the weekend, the outside temperature soared up to 95 degrees Fahrenheit and without electricity the indoor temperature climbed to about 84 degrees Fahrenheit. I quickly made this electric fan to help keep me cool. I repurposed three blades from my lego education energy kit, a spare power function m-motor, and a spare AAA battery holder. I avoided gearing up the fan and used the three blade configuration to get the highest energy efficiency (for the longest sustainable operation from my battery pack). I later added a stand infront to hold a cup of ice infront of the airflow and a thermometer and digital watch stand too.
