Expanded Incinerator scene from Toy Story 3

This is a build from 2010 that great expands on the official Lego Toy Story 3 set (set 7596). It depicts the final climatic scenes where our toy heroes are put in the ultimate nightmare of traveling down a series of conveyors, destined for a giant incinerator! While the actual set is OK, it unfortunately only covers the last bit, and the scale is pretty off for the actual scene in the movie. In the film it's vast, more like a volcano! Even ours is nothing like that, but we made our incinerator about 6-8 times larger than the original, which allowed for more detail, more fire, a ramp down into it and a lot more trash. We also added the first ramp where they get dropped into the conveyor system, and our favorite, the giant paper shredder that grinds everything up, which the barely escape overhead via clever use of a magnetic ceiling. We also had fun just adding all sorts of industrial details like the various gas valves at the end, our own "trash", a rough but basically recognizable Rex, Slinky Dog and the Potato-head couple. The real set only came with two Alien dudes, so we made another one of those too.
