I'm not much of a castle builder, so I thought about this crossover project as a bit of an out of my comfort zone test. The idea is really simple, a group of CS spacemen find themselves on a feudal planet, where they help the locals build their first harvester robot.

Nice bit of Classic Spastling (is that a real word?!?). I like how you've used the wall sections inside out to get a smooth wall inside. The bell in the tower is a great idea. I like the little robot and the details on the big robot, like the propellor bow-tie.

The facial expression on the robot is awesome! Good way to sharp'n skills by building out of your comfort zone!

Man, I love your stuff. I grew up with the classic spacement, knights, and pirates and use to cross them over in crazy ways. A limited collection really breeds imagination. I'm seeing some newer pieces. Look's like you're hitting the bricklink scene. Don't go overboard with it. It seems like I spend more time sorting than building! Again, great stuff - keep it up.

Awesome! So we (MOCpagers) call this Spastle (mixing classic space and castle). I've never seen it done quite this way before, but I LIKE it! ~Dave

I love a bit of Spastle. The two themes shouldn't mix well but they really do.

Quoting Brody Allen Interesting idea as always. As obscure as it sounds you make the two genres work really well.
Just you wait, I ave some really obscure builds planned.

Quoting Fritz . What do you mean you're not much of a castle builder?!?! This is absolutely fantastic! It was ingenious to mix these two themes, I wish I had thought of that. :P. Happy building! ~Fritz
Expect some further adventures, I'll try and push my castle building further.

Quoting Tim C Great concept, David. I love the work on the belltower and the little sample of castle building looks like you may have an adept hand at it if you were to make it the focus of your MOC. I love the idea of the medieval automaton, though I'm wondering when the steel beast is going to lose control and start slaughtering some spacemen;)
Just like any combine harvester, accidents will happen in the field.
