My LEGO ATV: all-terrain vehicle (four-wheeler). The steering works and it has functioning shocks in the back. I made it to fit my modified 4404 Land Busters truck.
About this creation
This is a LEGO ATV (all-terrain vehicle). Actually, there are two (only one fits at a time!). I made them to fit my modified Land Busters pickup truck. It really needed more than just spare tires in the back...
The ATVs have working steering and functioning rear shocks. They are a perfect fit for the modified bed of my 4404 Land Busters truck.
The modifications to the Land Busters include, but are not limited to; an Xtra cab with fold-up back seats, raised suspension (1 brick), new front end, new bumpers, added sunroof, thicker side boards, KC lights, new tail lights, added windshield wipers, antenna and license plate (not shown).
The biggest modification (hardly noticeable - only to the truly discerning eye) is to the wheelbase. The original Land Busters 4404 model has the wheels set 1/2 stud to far forwards and backwards, respectively, and they easily hit the fenders when the shocks are compressed. I shortened the chassis by one stud and reattached it to the body offset 1/2 stud with jumpers. Now the wheels are centered in their positions.

It's pretty good, congrats on MOTD! The handle bar however is not well preportioned with the rest of the moc, the rest is good though : ).

Did you use a LEGO set for your red and yellow atvs? they are awesome...brake handles, exhaust pipes, functional steering, working suspension...totally awesome. plus your yellow truck looks like LEGO built it that way. excellent. |
