Princess Katerina continues to suffer in her chains...
The pain mistress approaches...
'Pathetic wretch! Surrounded in your own stinking filth and helpless, what kind of a joke species are you?'
Months of malnutrition and torture had sapped Katerina of both dignity and grace, but a fire for justice still burned brightly within.
'Go to hell!'
'Your idiot Earthling friends have refused to surrender. Your own father cares more for his ships than you! We have foiled a sorry attempt at rescue already, we blasted that wench into another dimension! And now they send more, it's rather amusing. I wonder if I should just sacrifice you on live broadcast right now?'
Meanwhile, back on Galactica...
Tanya: "I was about to land on Drakis IV and rescue me a princess. Then my instruments went crazy and I end up here!"
Remembering her recent test flight of the Time Warp bomber where she ended up in 1970's America only to be attacked by time traveling agents of the Draggone, Tanya suddenly fell ill. "Uhm, what year is this?"
The Galactica crew look to each other dumbfounded...
Dr. Korund: "Okay, Lieutenant, sounds like you may be experiencing some disorientation. We should get you to the Med Lab, ASAP."
Dr. Korund: "I think a full physical examination is in order."
Bones: "Man, I really should have stayed in school!"
Meanwhile...
The Emperors fleet approaches Drakis IV behind a screen of patrolling fighters...
Hand of God battleship moves just ahead of the fleet.
Parrington nods gravely as he receives his orders should the Emperor fail in his mission to personally rescue his daughter. Talia had demanded to join in the effort but had been reminded of her responsibility as the next in line to the throne should his majesty not return successfully.
'I trust you will serve Talia as you have me Director Levens.'
'To Hades and back should she so command Phillip.'
The Emperor smiled and nodded, forgiving the Director the use of his first name, they were after all life long friends. 'And Talia, I advice you to listen to this man on all matters domestic to Earth. You can't fight wars in outer space if your home base is in strife, never forget this.'
Talia nodded maniacally. She was a fighter jock, the thought of ruling in her father's stead frightened her more than an enemy squadron of Draggone fighters shooting at her tail. 'Father you make sure you give my spoilt big sister a hug for me when-'
The Emperor drew his daughter close as her emotions overwhelmed her.
'Her tracer is still active Talia. We know she's down there and alive. You can give her that hug yourself when we return...'
Hand of God hangar deck B...
Flight Cpt Kalic performs the last of her pre-flight checks as a crack team of seals and marines presents for duty.
Samhain Fire escorts launch ahead. The extraction mission has been earmarked as the tip of the sword of the Drakis IV assault. They had 40 minutes to get in and out, and then Drakis IV was going to be nuked to slag.
Space-hawk away...
Expertly evading what remains of the local Draggone fleet, Kalic flies into Drakis IV's orbit, and prepares to angle for entry as the Emperor addresses his men in the cabin.
'Gentlemen! I can babble about duty, honor and glory but I'm not in the mood. That's my girl down there and I want her back! One million Euro's bonus to each of you if we pull this off, and honorable discharges on full service pensions should you so choose. How's that sound lads?'

It is so hard to keep up with the both of you especially when I am in the fluffy gray areas of what is left of my mind. Getting the next load of creations ready to photograph. OK... A rather impressive array of editing and effects. great contrasting BLA BLA BLA.... Great work once again and a very good story line making me want to read more... THEN... Bummer I have to wait till the next installment. just the way it should be.. Got me thinking there is more to Lego than just Battlewagons. and Toasters.
