A moc ive been wanting to build for months and months..but never figured out how to do it...but ladys and gentle man..he has arrived...Makuta Hydroxanoid! Revamp of my first ever moc on the pages!
About this creation
“His name was known throughout the land; he spread danger and fear in it. He was known as the corrupted king…long, long ago.”
Occupation: Was once the leader of his own empire, and at one point emperor of Fieldus Magna
Titles: Hydroxanoid, The Corrupted King, The Mad Metal Work.
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Personality: Devious, merciless, doesn’t care for anyone but himself.
Weapons: Robotic Fist, Claws, Sword, Brute Strength
Backstory: Hydroxanoid was evil, ruthless, and merciless. He was a highly decorated member of the brotherhood and was envied by most makuta members. Hydroxanoid was sent from Spherus Magna to look for other life forms and other planets; I mean who else was right for this dangerous and important job? His spaceship came across Fieldus Magna. He landed on the planet, to find a vast world of cities, forests, mountains, rivers, oceans, and matoran tribes. Instead of reporting back to his (Former) master Teridax, he decided to cut off all communication with the brotherhood and rule this planet by his own hand. He needed an army though, some type of force to help him in his conquest. He decided to do what he is infamous for now, raid and capture matoran tribes and use them as test subjects. He used matorans to build his new castle and monument, which are now destroyed as of the end of The Field Wars. He then took his matoran, and tested them in experiments (his greatest ones are known as Shadowflame and “Terror Claw”). In one experiment, he gave matoran toa stones, and then sucked out there very life force, but kept the skeletons to copy for android building (Which led to the building of the Terminator and Devastator Units).
Though, many years after his first ruling, a mysterious rebellion upraised. It was a rag-tag group of warriors that are now known in the history books as the “Elemental Warriors” (Shadowflame was part of this team for some time, until the great cataclysm destroyed the team and he formed The Toa Fieldus.) This rebellion against him led to many battles, Matorans vs. The Androids, these battles were known as “The Field wars”. Hydroxanoid was eventually defeated at “The Battle of Saga-nui” (this battle was also where the black fantasy known as Mind reaper was formed.) Thinking to be dead, Hydroxanoid went into exile into a nearby mountain range. He managed to repair himself, giving himself new armor and a new arm from when it was cut off. He has now come out of his exile, wanting to take revenge on Shadowflame and his rebellion, and to also eliminate all evil besides himself, so he may rule again.
Does anyone remember this hunk of junk that i called my first ever moc? Well...i have a surprise for you.
The New Hydroxanoid! Bigger and badder then ever!
After many months of thinking, i have finally decided to revamp my ever first moc! The mad and merciless Makuta Hydroxanoid!
Giving him a newer, huger figure and a proper color scheme, i am very proud to say this probably my best moc to date.
I also had the idea of two separate hands, one organic, and one that is robotic from battle damage.
I think he looks alot tougher now then he did back then, though i did leave out alot of aspects from the original that had his characteristics (i did leave in a good piece of him though.)
But gosh do i love that robotic hand.
It just looks menacing and horrible to come by.
I thought that with his power, hes gonna need more then one heart light to power it up, so i gave him two more artificial heart lights!
The back is a little bare, but i like it in my opinion.
The legs i am very proud of, there are virtually no gaps!
He has the look of mad death on his face
Here's a size comparison to the man that took his kingdom from him, Atukam.
A famous size comparison with Hydroxanoids best creation (that turned on him) Shadowflame.
Looks like the rivalry is still going strong....
And his most infamous aspect, his capturing, execution, and experimenting on feeble, innocent matoran. He was a mad scientist of his time.
And the one aspect i kept from the original! His mighty Sword!
It did somewhat upgrade, but not much.
Testing it on a Toa Prisoner.
Come back soon my friends:D
Fourth Wall: I had alot of fun making this, i had to dig back down into my roots of mocing to actually come up with his back story and make him. I wanted this to be perfect, the last titan i built (Phantomgear) was a complete disaster...limbs sucked, he was to chunky and he had no real story....so i killed him...and built this. I loved this so much, and i should be building his first creation The Terminator Unit Very soon i believe. So stay tuned:D
Thank you all for such nice comments critique(: I will get started in the feet as soon as i can! Also, at Cody, I have changed alot, and i think im gonna start taking mocing alot more seriously.
So thank you! Stay tuned!!!:D
Wow, you I think scrapping Phantomgear really payed off! Excellent work all around, but I gotta say, I think those lower legs are astounding and awesome! Only tip I'd give would be to customize the feet a little more, they look kinda small in comparison to their use as armor on the shin. Overall amazing job! :D
What a huge upgrade! The new version has very little in common with the original, but you made the silver claw into moveable fingers and kept the sword. He looks very powerful now, the whole bulkyness is epic!
Well that's why I said similiar and not exact so it doesn't have to be the exact color scheme and stuff. just pick a class and make/revamp a moc that has that class( you can even make a moc with two or all classes) you don't have to do the challenge if you don't want to
