This is my entry into Round 2 of the 2012 Bio-Cup. It is category 10-build a multicolored Rahi that employs five different colors.

About this creation

Birdlike reverse-jointed legs with some greeblage. Talons are made out of basketball-fig hands.

Torso, made out of various BIONICLE/Technic/System bits.

Epic custom bird head. Very proud of this.

Right side profile.

Brick-built plumage (BBP).

Who would have thought car doors could make such amazing wings?

Palm leaf tailfeathers for the win! The Biofenix even has a saddle for Matoran riders.

So yeah as most of you have probably heard, my opponent Fuzz E had to drop out of this contest due to moving matters, so I'm sort of devoting this MOC to him as well. It was an honor to compete against him as I know he would have been a worthy opponent. Fuzz E, if you're reading this I hope your move across Canada goes well and I hope to face you again next year!

Even that you won by default, thsi entry is great. It really captyred the bird and the multicolor ideas while looking really good. Outstanding use of colors here.

Great creation! I never thought you have the multicolor-category, because this turned out so well! Great work on the body and the head, and the small tail detail! Good luck in the contest!
