This is my first steam locomotive MOC. I used my first BBB wheels on this model. I rarely ran it, considering it was not successful pulling my 3-4 car consist at reasonable speed on my old oval shaped layout. It was my first locomotive to use my reversing gear design. This locomotive lasted a while, but I tore it down. These pictures were taken in late 2005-early 2006.
EDIT: I realize now that the layout itself was the problem. I had a switch placed incorrectly, and the trains derailed on it. I regret tearing down this locomotive so soon, but I would have done it sooner or later.
