Hey guys! This is my entry for the BioCup, Round 2! My opponent is FEN REK and this is his entry! My theme was to create a swarm out of small Tablescrap Rahi.
Now, let's begin with the story.
Workur: The last part is nearly done...
Workur: Hehe, this machine will give me the most powerful creature ever! And it will be mine...
Workur: It works!
Workur: Wow. You. Are. Short.
Workur: And where does that come from?
Workur: And those...
Workur: What happened!?
Walrus: Oh, we are just the harmless. You also teleported the swarmers :3
Workur: Oh noes...
Workur: By Mata Nui! Gaaah!
Workur: My mask! Ow, something bit me!
And what do we learn out of this story? Don't play with teleporters :)
Now to the main part of my entry: The six biggest and most detailed ones.
The Walrus, my personal favorite.
A flying Rahi.
Some kind of small bear, with small claws :)
The orange elephant, also one of my favorites.
A bird with a giant head and torso on very small legs.
An ice-manta. He has not many designs, but I still like his shape and the simple colors.
This was the real swarm part in this! These were made just for quantity, not quality, but I and maybe you still like some of them! Edit: I don't know why I posted them. They better be not shown, for the new viewers eyes sake ;)
But the comic continues...
Sad Elephant: Oh...
Sad Elephant: They're already gone. And the Matoran worker also.
Mysteriousperson: Wait! But he left something...
Range: I'll find this guy...
Range: ... with my awesome-power!
Sad Elephant: Hey!
The first 6 Rahi were very much fun to make, I had most of the ideas already and simply needed to make them.
The Tablescrap swarm was added pretty late, but since the Rahi are appearing all over in Workur's workshop, something to "overwhelm" him would be some additional fun :)
The more I look at these tablescraps, the more I dislike them. I don't know what I have thought when I posted them. The six main entries get discounted by that! I just have to delete the pic of them, my eyes... :D
Great presentation, but your opponents' designs showed more care and effort. I think you wavered between quality and quantity, not really standing out in any of the two. I vote for your opponent. A bit of advice: it feels like you have been second-guessing yourself, am I correct? That's usually a mistake in contests.
