Annnnnd...here we go again.

About this creation

I can tell I'm out of shape when it comes to these things, but all the same, here we go.

I'm a fan of formula 1 cars(Mclaren's cars look the best. just saying). They've always had this sci-fi look to them, and it's something I've tried to incorporate into my MoCs, with little success. Instead, I relied on large pieces to sculpt the shape for me, and this was always my weakness.

But not anymore. My collection has been diced, and all I have left are a few of my large slopes. Meaning that, for once in my building career, I had to get creative.

In the past, something like this would be a table scrap and not fit for public display. But in architecture school, even your study models get the once-over. And I've grown fond of this little guy. Might even come up with a back-story for it. The DE predecessor? A converted race-speeder? A carrier fighter? I'll think up something.

FEATURES:
Landing gear.
Modular design.
Mini-fig capable.
Only 6 studs high when landing gear is up
Has a rotating front wing to aid in banking turns (can be switched to increase weapons payload)
Hard points along the canopy for armament.

Quoting Lord Star-Blazer Nice, like that you included an intake. A lot of aircraft/fighters are sometimes built without them.

Eyup, it's got one o' dem dere doo-hickies. I envisioned this as more of an atmospheric racer with sub-space capability, and the intake filled up the otherwise massive gap under the slope piece. So it sort of necessitated itself.
