Being at home for some days between two trips there is not much time to build but I can't keep myself from trying out some things ;-) So here you can see what I have been doing lately. What you guys have been working on I have already seen, and I will start to comment on it right now!
1. Vintage Car (see above)
I wanted to have a vintage car with black fenders which is impossible to achieve with skis since they do not exist in that colour. So here is my second approach to this subject. The idea here is to tilt the whole front section to get a smooth fender silhouette. The front city mudguards (4 x 2 1/2 x 2) will probably be changed into the new ones (4 x 2 1/2 x 1).
(Btw. does it resemble a car you know? Please tell me then.)
2. Rih Convertible S
Another version of the growing "Rih" series.
3. 4437 MOD with suspension
My dear friend Sven Jagdmann (http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/84460) was so kind as to send me some of those nice spring elements (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2484c01) he used on his 4w GMC and which were new to me. I combined them with some Technic pins to get a suspension for a larger vehicle, in this case a modded 4437 pick-up truck. This turned out quite nicely - a very efficient and well working suspension for a 4x4 or an offroad truck with a very large axle articulation. Even in this position the wheels are still spinning. The only disadvantage is the colour ...
4. Bluesmobile updated
Not a WIP - au contraire a finished MOC. There was missing something all the time. Can you guess what it is?
Some cool creations coming up! I have to tell you that I accidentaly removed you from my group MOCpages Autoshow when I was acutally going to make you a moderator. I'm sorry about it so I sent a invitation so please accept it.
Hi Marcus, those are some great new projects you got there. The fenders on the Citroen (?) look really cool, go on with that one! The other new cars are already very cool, too. And the finished project has a nice new spotlight. Great job! :-))
@Joseph: Thx! @Gabor: Thx! Looking forward to your creation! @Malte: Thx! @Sven: Thanks pal! "1939 Citroen Traction Cabriolet 11BL" - great! Maybe I can add something to the grille like LegoEng did (see http://www.flickr.com/photos/75513482@N08/7351276310) Concerning the axles - thanks again, your Fall Guy project is really inspiring in every way ... ;-) @Henrik: Thx! @Thomas: Thx! @Joe: Thx mate! The sports car is only another version of the "Rih" series, see the first Police Interceptor and some other cars. I'd like to create a different 7w design, but somehow it always turns into a Rih ... ;-) Your Impeachment Day MOC looks great, haven't seen it before, will take a closer look. @Zbigniew: Thx, but you wouldn't say so if you saw what is not shown here ... ;-) @Fritz: Thx! @Elk: Thx! @Aaden: Thx! - Thx a lot guys, see you soon!
The red and black car is fantastic! I have two red spring elements from this set: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6490-1
I think it's one of the best lego sets! :D I also want to use this elements with this technic for a long time. Maybe in this summer I will be successful! :)
Hi buddy, nice to see some of your new creations. They are all really nice. The oldtimer reminds me a bit on a 1939 Citroen Traction Cabriolet 11BL. I love how you made the front fenders. On the second car i like especially the seats and the cockpit in it. It has also a relly cool shape. And now to the Pickup. I love how you modified the spring axles. It's a great, clever idea and looks fantastic on the pickup. Though i have these axles for many years, i had never this cool idea for it. Great work again my dear friend. Enjoy your trip and have much fun. See ya :)
Hi Marcus, great to see you back. Apologies for not being in contact via flickr. The vintage car is beautiful, I love the angle you have created for the nose and front fenders. The sports car is great too. I canít decide which car it looks like but I like it a lot. Love the suspension pieces and your idea is very clever, I might like to use it. I have also used these axles in my Impeachment Day moc - You might like my steering technique. Talk soon buddy :D
