Endgame - Episode 3
About this creation

Galactica

Mav: "So, let me get this straight: An evil race of aliens, time travel, and an Imperial Armada?"

Tanya: "That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! But the difference is that none of this; the Galactica, The Colonies, none of it is in what I remember from history."

Mav: "Hmm...Maybe we're in a completely different time line, or even a totally different universe?"

Cougar: "I just hope those Dragonne goons aren't in OUR universe!"

Tanya: "You got that right! They're bent on the total destruction of mankind, and they'll stop at nothing!"

Bones: "Now where have I heard THAT before...?"

Mav: "This just keeps getting better and better..."

Galactica Medical Lab
Dr. Korund: "Captain Roberts, please have a seat in the scanner...We just want to make sure everything is in order here. No excessive radiation exposures, things like that."

Korund: "Okay, nurse Jones, as soon as it's polarized."

Jones: "Yes, Doctor. Activating..."

Tanya: "Wow, Doc, that was quick! It kinda tickled!"
Korund: "It'll only take a few seconds for it to crunch the numbers..."

Mav: "So, Doc, what do you say? Is she going to make it? Is she hallucinating this whole time travel alternate universe thing?"

Korund: "No neurological issues that I can find, other than the typical competitive edge we see in most pilots."

Cougar: "Sounds great! So Tanya, why don't you come over to the Triton for a little visit? Before all the debriefing I assume Maverick has in mind..."

Tanya: "Fine by me, I just want to get cleaned up after my previous mission. But I may need to borrow a ride while my ship's getting serviced."

Mav: "Oh, uh, no problem, just ask the Deck Chief...?"

Cougar: "Perfect! We can go to the Officers' Head, I know where that is."

Tanya: "Lead the way! Later Boys!"

Cougar: "Well, that must be a relief, to know you're not crazy!"
Tanya: "Honey, we fighter jocks are all crazy... But it's still pretty damned odd... I have no idea how I got here, or how I'll even get back!"

Cougar: "You can at least have a little fun while you're here, sounds like you really need a break. That's what it's been like for us since Galactica arrived."

Mav: "Combat, Maverick. Get Topsy to the Officers' Head pronto, we need a little recon."
CIC: "Roger that Commander!"

Bones: "Now why don't I ever get the good assignments?"

Cougar: "So after we get cleaned up, we can hop over to the Triton. I bet my Captain will be thrilled to meet you!"
Tanya: "Wicked! And that Mav guy said I could borrow one of his Vipers! This is going to be great!"

DRAKIS IV

'Touch down Emperor, mission's a go.'

'Breathable atmosphere like the read outs say Majesty.'

'Long live GAIA!!! Go! Go! Go!'

- Drakis IV surface -

'So Kalic, you sure you want to put boots to the ground on this one?'
'Look James, Tanya's transponder is giving off a faint trace from here. I just want to make sure she gets a fair chance at rescue also.'

'That thing you showed me is off the scales weak Kalic. A ghost signal! No-one's gonna take that seriously.'
'Hence my going down there, duh.'
Kalic may have had her scrapes with Tanya Roberts, but pilots were all family and she knew the crazy American girl would do the same for her. A ghost signal was a signal never the less, and Tanya just had to be around somewhere...

Following the princesses transponder signal, the squad moves into the mouth of a giant cavern...

Soon after some medium fighting, the subterranean labyrinth is secured.

Even some civilian prisoners are discovered and freed....

Then the squad secures the main chamber...

The Draggone Pain Mistress turns in maniacal glee as humans burst into her blasphemous chapel.
'Why Emporer! How nice of you to join us as dinner :)'
'Hands off my daughter you damned filthy lizard!'

Perhaps overconfident, the Emperor launches forward and smites the foul Draggone mistress with three swipes of his rapier. 'Die!'

And all other Draggone in the chamber soon meet as deserved an end of their own...

'Father...' She hardly managed the word as a whisper really, but for the hope deprived princess Katerina, it felt as though she had just issued the greatest shout of relief she ever would.

'Is it really you...'

Thanking Christ, the Emperor catches his collapsing daughter in his arms and momentarily cries his relief.
'Precious daughter...'

Beginning the evacuation quickly, everyone is amazed to see Katherine Welsh, the ex-prime minister of Bretonnica is still alive.
'Yes father,' Katerina whispered as she clung on to him for support in her weakened state 'they brought her down here months ago.'
'They, falsely it would seem, televised her death to us all Katerina. All these moniths I have so dreaded seeing such footage of you-'

- GALACTICA -

LT Stovella Creatori, call sign Topsy: "Hey, Ladies! Good timing! I just turned the shower on, takes a while for the water to heat up..."

Topsy: "Just gotta get out of this flight suit..."

LT Aidan Bryant, call sign Die Hard, observes with disbelief.

Tanya: "Hey, Topsy, you should ask your wing-man to bring us that soap!"

Topsy: "Aiden, why don't you drop trou, and come give us a hand in here!"
Couger: "Yeah, don't be shy! We don't bite...much..."

Die Hard (to himself): "Puppies, nuns, baseball..."

- CAVERN ON DRAKIS IV -

'O.K. Kalic, you're right. Tanya's signal is somehow being picked up through this portal gateway device.'

'See!'

'Well, this stuff is pretty alien to me even with all my Draggone tech training, but logically speaking, if I reverse the polarity on this thing and feed Tania's signal back through the conduit as a point of origin, the warp field just might bring her back...'

To be continued...

Puppies, nuns, baseball! Great stuff. I love the "digital underwear" you did in that scene with the little "Gaia" insignia on Tanya's. Can't wait for the next one.

Shower scene, shower scene, shower scene YIIPPEEEE!!! Uh, hold the phone. I don't see any "naughty bricks" at all in this shot. How dare ye sirs, I want my money back! All kidding aside (OR MAYBE NOT, WINK WINK), very well done once again. The only things I found lacking were the rescue scenes. Personally, I wished there was a whole lot more graphic violence and mayhem with some Draggonne dismemberment for good meaasure. However that's just my twisted mind talkin' so feel free to completely ignore my silliness. In conclusion, long live Endgame!"

@ MortalSwordsman: Applications can be submitted to the Officer of the Watch. At this time we are in need of pipe fitters and knob polishers. Thanks for your interest!

@Ben: That would be Parrington, out in his alien Australian landscape. Unfortunately while photographing this episode, his ankle was bitten by a rabid wombat. But not to worry, he'll be up and ready for episode 4!

Not sure which I liked better. The shower scene or the tied up princess? You may have to include a few more just so I can make up my mind... ~ Chris.

Quoting Heath 'kik36' Flor LMFAO love the GAIA logo on Tanya's thong! Excellent job gents!
Believe it or not, that was MY idea! Like Spaceballs, I figure that everything in the GAIA would have the logo on it, from coffee makers to underwear. Thanks, Dude!

Quoting StoveTop Creator As always, I love the dialogue. The references to the character of pilots is so true! Always nifty to be able to incorporate tried-and-true builds like the showers! Thereís so much going on, that Iím sure Iíll return and review to make sure I didnít miss anything the first time! Oh, and I AM smiling! :)
Good to know :) Yes, it's a balancing act between getting out the story with out too much text, I'm glad we get it right for some people. :) Cheers...

Quoting Tom Simon Great stuff. I did find the father bit somewhat disturbing, given her state, but I'm willing to chalk that up to strong sun down under. Where in the desert do you live, Parrington? And do you have access to water? And Barto: how often do you hear "Wow, Doc, that was quick! It kinda tickled!"
hehe, I was going for emotional, but maybe it's better described now... Cheers Mate :)
