My LEGO Collection (7/24/12)
This is my ever growing LEGO collection.
About this creation
Here is my LEGO collection as of July 24, 2012. According to peeron.com I have a little over 18000 pieces, 154 sets, and 178 minifigures. I know all of my pieces are not sorted in anyway at all but I plan to sort them as soon as we move into our new house in about a year or so because I will have a bigger room. Right now my room just doesn't have enough space for all of my LEGO pieces to be sorted into separate containers.

Here are all of my minifigs!

I have all my minifig accessories in this box. They're a lot easier to find that way. These are the only pieces that I sort out from the rest of my LEGO pieces.

Whenever I feel I'm short on parts, I get myself a nice bricklink shipment. Personally, I like to build stuff in more 'organized' colors, but I never really sort out my loose bricks.

I don't envy you your sorting, that's going to take a while. Good luck! ;)

I am working on organizing all my pieces by color. It's impossible.

Nice collection. I bet you wouldn't have to build in rainbow color if you had everything sorted! :) But try to cover up the studs in your MOCs with flat tiles(this gives everything a smooth look, and also try to keep it this in one color too). And check out other people's MOCs and try out some different techniques of your own! Oh, and you can buy bricks you need for MOCs online. Bricklink.com would be a good place. I hope you take my advice!

That is a fairly decent TFOL collection you have. I don't envy the sorting, even though its the first thing I'd be doing if that was mine :)

You'll find it so much easier to build once everything is organized, though it's quite tedious when you're in the midst of sorting.

That looks like a very decent collection, I'm currently in the process of sorting my collection, so I spend less time searching the right part later :P

Quoting Gale Winthrope That looks relatively close to what my collection was a few years ago... Thank God for garage sales... But do I spot the Pepper minifig?! He was my favorite! :}
The Pepper minifigure is one of my favorites too! I've had him since I was 7 years old.

Quite a large amount of legos you have there! It's fun to imagine what things you can create out of those bricks :)
