Prehistoric Watering Hole
Another excuse to build a landscape... and use some recently acquired dinosaur bricks.
About this creation

I haven't seen crocodiles featured in any dinosaur MOCs, and they were around then, so I put one in for good measure.

Here we see the wild Triceratops walking around and doing whatever it is they did back then.

And here we see the crocodile doing... probably what they do today. The triceratops was probably a bit big to eat, methinks.

And here we see the water randomly turning green even though I hadn't changed the lighting.

Climbing in the trees we find the rare species Stinkapus Maximus. =/

Random view of one of the few paths trodden through the ferns and grass over time.

Aerial view, since they obviously had the helicopters necessary for this kind of thing back then.

Thanks for viewing!

This is amazing! One thing, shouldn't the triceratops be traveling in a pack? (Silly question if you don't have anymore triceratops)

@sub zero (or what ever his name is): no cave men at the time. @senator: Nice build! Why is the water green? For a dino scene I'd like to see more dinos. Science: everything is in order, blah, blah, blah...

A real departure, this, and probably not the best place for Chinchillas to hang around, lest they get eaten. Lovely build.

To the comment below, it can't be grass because grass wasn't around in those times;) Nice build, I like the water and the trees!

And I have yet to see a dinosaur themed diorama without grass.

I like this look. I wish I had as many green parts. I do have to say something negative about the water. It isn't a bad look, but for being a watering hole, it looks more like it is about to become a geiser and being extremely bubbly with the colors and the fashion of the pieces in that area. However, I've heard crocodile tastes similar to chicken so perhaps a T-Rex could get some good eatin' out that. :)

Wow that is pretty amazing, Grass did not evolve until around 60 to 55 million years ago though, long after the dinos died. But aside from that this is by far one of the most fantastic landscapes Ive seen on mocpages. 5*
