At approximately 0200 Hrs, Engine 91 was dispatched for a vehicle fire at 18 E Deerpath. One minute later, the dispatch was upgraded to a working fire. When companies went en route, dispatch updated that there was possible entrapment. Engine 91 was first on scene and found a fully involved garage fire, but lead out a preconnect to the interior and performed a search. Tower 93 went interior and performed a search, while Engine 92 lead out a 2.5 and preconnect on the garage fire. Engine 91 found both victims, and with Tower 93's assistance were able to get both out. Victim 1 was in full arrest, while Victim 2 was barely breathing. Victim 1 succumbed to his injuries at the hosptial. Victim 2 in currently in the ICU at Johnstown Medical. The fire was quickly knocked by Engine 92. Companies remained on scene for approximately one hour after knockdown performing overhaul and rehabbing. Currently the remainder of the photos are being held for the investigation. These were the only one's released by the department currently. The River County Arson Taskforce is investigating.
