About this creation

If you know me from YouTube, I am an avid stopmotion animator. Occasionaly, I will post some of my videos here on MOCpages, such as my beloved Phantom of the Opera project.

This past weekend, I purchased the new 2012 summer Star Wars 9496 Desert Skiff set. Once I assembled the set, I just knew I had to make a new video showcasing the awesome Boba Fett minifig. As a fan of the Bounty Hunter video game, this video seemed like a perfect opportunity to combine the best of both worlds.

The setting of the film is basically recycled from my Phantom Paris Opera House, but decorated with futuristic cargo crates to add the dark smuggler mood.

All voices are performed by me :)

I always take pleasure in creating these kinds of animation shorts, so you can definately expect more films like this in the future.

Thanks! I was going for more of a "stealthy" suspense vibe in this particular film, but action is always fun as well, so maybe a sequel to this in the future?

Quoting Dave Kaleta Okay, the film was really well done, but I must admit to giggling a bit when I heard the Trandoshan speak :) ~Dave

I literally wrote in the script: Trandoshan=(gibberish sounds) The Trandoshan's voice was accomplished by recording my "snarling" growl and then playing it in reverse with some minor pitch editing. Easier said than done ;)
