This is my FDNY Tanker 8 Truck based on a MACK Truck; Tanker 8 consists of 1 crew member and can store many litters of water to assist with the bigger fires and help to fill up other trucks. The truck has a range of different on-board equipment such as heavy-duty on-board water pumps to pump water out of rivers to fill the tanker up, the tanker also has 4 jet valves to help assist with fires, the truck can also get water from fire hydrants to transport it to areas of need. The truck has lots of storage for barriers, cones and water hoses so that it is prepared for big fires, the truck also features a heavy duty pumper panel to monitor the water input and output in litters per minute.

About this creation

The truck has many storage compartments on it on both outside and inside of the truck itself!

All of our trucks have a 9/11 tribute on them for those lost during 9/11

The truck has a Heavy-Duty Pumper Panel on it to monitor water input and output of water in litters per minute!

The trucks on-board equipment includes:
- 2 Suction Hoses
- 2 Transfer Hoses to transfer water between other trucks and apparatus
- 1 Heavy Duty Water Hose
- 2 Barriers – Used When Filling
- 2 Cones – Used when Filling

Current FDNY trucks are white over red. I agree with Sven and say make it a different department, this way you can make up your own color scheme. I would also add a dump tank to your tanker (or at least the appearance of one), Do all of this and you'd be in pretty good shape.
