Thanks to frequent viewing of Thomas the Tank Engine back in the 90's I have been left with a love of trains. Although dwarfed by legions of Star Wars Lego Sets, my trains hold a small but special place in the collection.
First up a generic rail crossing sign, a "Darth Vader" signal, and a Sand (or maybe Water) tower.
My good old signal box. The two story structure controls the signals on the line, a good thing as there as I own no switches for sidings.
The signal box was built around the time the Emerald Knight was released. As such they go great together to form a bit of a British Rails feeling.
And my pride and joy of my train mocs, The Edward Thomas of the Talyllyn Railway (or Peter Sam as some of us know the engine as...). With the right wheels this engine should be able to ride (be pushed) on Lego narrow gauge track, but since I do not own any narrow gauge track it remains a concept.
