Boromir's Last Stand
Boromir makes a stand against the Uruk-hai at Amon Hen!
About this creation
Hi everyone! Here's my first Lord of the Rings MOC! I made it for the Lord of the Rings Building Challenge on the official Lego website!

I'd really like to win the contest because one of the prizes is the complete assortment of Lego Lord of the Rings sets! I'm trying to get lots of comments and likes on my entry at the Lego website so I would really appreciate it if everyone would drop by and leave a short comment! If any of you have an entry in the contest, I would be happy to like and comment on it too! My username on the Lego website is Mjolnir300 and the creation is called Boromir's Last Stand.

Here's a link to my entry on the Lego website:

The scene I chose to do is Boromir's Last Stand at Amon Hen. In this scene Boromir tries to protect Merry and Pippin from the Uruk-hai. Boromir fights bravely while Merry and Pippin throw rocks at the attacking Uruk-hai. Eventually, the lead Uruk-hai, Lurtz, shoots Boromir with three arrows and Merry and Pippin are captured. Shortly after, Aragorn arrives and defeats Lurtz to avenge Boromir.

Here's the scene from the movie:

I tried to make my MOC as close as possible to the scene in the movie. I tried to position statues where they were in the film. I also added the big tree that Lurtz pins Aragorn against with his shield.

Thanks for viewing everyone! I really appreciate the likes and comments!

I really like, pretty accurate, but I have a problem with Lurtz. His arms should be brown, an I don't remember him wearing armor...

Oh no! I have competition! Maybe I won't get first anymore, there are to many mocs better than mine by now. :( Anyway, I like it. It's very clean in my mind.
