VOAT: Slave II the bat.
A new series of Variations On A Theme, honouring set 8097.
About this creation
Here I am with a brand new series of VOAT's (Variation On A Theme), this time based on my favorit SW ship: Boba Fett's Slave. I used the 8097 set as a bleuprint, made it two studs longer and enhanced a few things here and there.

This one is entirely dedicated to Dave Kaleta , cause he IS the Batman!

Enjoy!

A door for a Slave!

The door folds open on the inside.

Boba Bat!

Not to many buttons, but enough to hold them villains off!

The usual weaponry as in the official set,

but the booth has a nice surprise!

A Bat Speeder, with folding out wings and guns and all!

Flight modus!

Ain't she sweet??

Quoting Giovanni & Lennaert Seynhaeve No, for two different reasons: one; aesthetics, they just look ridiculously silly the other way and two; how do you think the wings look on a real bat?
Well, in an anatomic examination or on display, the wings are as yours in the MOC, but in flight they face the other way. I was only sharing my opinion like you asked, I'm not perfect.

Quoting MCLegoboy ! I'm Batfett. I think the wins should be facing the other way, but maybe you did that because of balance.

You captured batman aesthetics well, although the wings would do better shorter (and in my opinion - brickbuilt) to be closer to Slave, but if you do not have them...
