The progression of my Batcave project. It has seen some alterations for one reason or another, but I am pleased at how it turned out.
About this creation
The first cave was built as part of a club layout. It sat on a box on the floor to mee the height of the table.
Above the first cave was a bit of Wayne Manor. It was set into two sections: a living room where a party was in full gear, and the study (seen here).
Version 2 was an aattempt to condense the cave for travel. I was not content with how it turned out and what was left out, for it did not last too long.
Version 3 was the travelable version that I wanted. It contained what I wanted in the model and came apart in two sections which travelled well.
Version 4 has only slight modifications to the last version. It was the final version of the cave.
My daughters just got the most recent official Batcave and it's good fun, but we were thinking of working on something like this. Very inspiring! Loved the Wayne Manor top floor. Would be neat to work in some secret compartments/staircases or other moving parts as well, but you've certainly done an incredible job.
This looks great. I like the different levels you've set up here. The tumbler looks good. Some real architectural genius on this one. The top floor is probably the biggest win in my opinion. Love the wooden look. Very accurate.
