A Tarren Trade Authourity CH-53 heavy-lift spacecraft.
About this creation

A Tarren Trade Authourity CH-53 heavy-lift spaceship sits on a landing pad at a moonbase. The CH-53 was one of the most practical ships to come from the Llwyngwril X shipyards. It could travel long distances and lift heavy loads on any planet. Let's take a look inside the cockpit...

Oh no! This CH-53 has been hijacked by the notorious H.A.C.K. - the History, Anarchy & Chaos Kollective. Two of their operatives can be seen smiling inside. What mischief are they planning...?

The CH-53 blasts off. This view shows the front landing gear folded down, the black lifing hook attachment and VTOL lift jets. These were used along with an anti-gravity generator, which was buried in the ship's large hull.

The CH-53 has been renamed the "Chaotic History Anarchy Vehicle One" or CHAV-01 by its hijackers. It cruises through space, powered by its massive engine, known as the "Other Half of the Death Star".

The CHAV-01 flies past planets with Boney M, and other hits of the Classic Space era, blasting out from its cockpit. This view shows a greeble on top of the ship that was something to do with the winch.

When the CHAV-01 arrives in Earth orbit, its crew use a minature TTFN drive (Trans-Time Future Nexus) to travel hundreds of years into the past.

So that's what they're up to! They're delivering huge stone heads to a small island in the Pacific!

H.A.C.K. pranksters are always up to things like this. They took bulldozers back through time to create huge patterns in Peru and carved the Cerne Abbas giant with an orbiting laser cannon for a bet. The CHAV-01 was later used to build a big stone stone circle in the south of England after a drunken night out. The World Agency for Time & Correct History (W.A.T.C.H.) fights a constant battle against this meddling with Real Time.

The 20th century historian Chris Foss captured this image of a later H.A.C.K. visit to Easter Island.

Quoting MortalSwordsman . So this is how they built the Pyramids. CHAV-01 hahaaha. I wonder if the term Chav is known outside of the UK? Great build full of fun and skills. The colours and shape are fantastic. I always look forward to your mocs, not sure how I missed this one.
Thanks for your comments! Most of the stuff in my write-ups comes from being 40, living in Meirionnydd and listening to Radio 4. I'm surprised anybody gets any of it!! For instance, I've just discovered that there are no Bounty bars in the USA... http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/338326

Quoting Parrington Levens hehe, wow! How cs and funky! You love your 50's sci-fi art...
I never thought of being 50's inspired but now you mention it that makes sense. When I was 8 or 9 I found a pile of my Dad's old "Eagle" comics. These were full of Dan Dare & amazing cutaway drawings.

Quoting Stuart Lucas Great idea, and very funny write up! I especially like the use of the pod and the half-a-death star in the build. Do I detect that you are another fan of the old TTA books?
I'm one of those people who saw the TTA books in libraries as a kid. I also live near the Tarren mountains. Have a look at my MOCpages homepage for a link to a brilliant TTA video.

Quoting Jared . I guess the "other half of the Death-star" engine is not just metaphorical, but also quite literal...
Yep! The first half is still on the back of the Blue Arrow.
