The 5th TDU2 car from me! Like I promised on my last one, the Audi Q7 V12. Now we have Stuart Wintory's Mercedes SLR McLaren 722S. This was a difficult car to make, as of the shaping on the real one. I'll give credit to Loek Marcus for the front bumper from off of his SLR Stirling-Moss SLR. Please rate and comment fairly!
About this creation
The front. I don't think that the car looks good with binoculars being used as lights. So i just used 1X1 roof tiles.
The side. The black that you see is the dragon sticker. The part near the front is supposed to be the air-intake.
Now the rear lights are a problem. If you use roof tiles, it looks wierd, so, unfortunatly, here is the result.
Rear side view. Here you can see the stripe on the hood.
Close-up of the hood stripe. It is only on the hood of the car, so not on the bumper.
Close-up of the dragon sticker.
The exhaust tips were tried using different tecniques, but eventualy, I settled on this.
With the roof open. This meant an interior!
A shot of the interior.
Finally, some artistic shots.
Thanks for looking at Stuart Wintory's SLR 722S.

this is great, i love the side exhausts :) you really do push yourself with these models, i know its hard to make 16 wide cars, but how do you cram all that detail into something a quarter of the size of the cars i make?! 5/5 i have a contest going at the moment, and i need another judge... i was wondering if you could judge for me? if you can, it is called summer cars 2012 contest, and their is a private group for judges to discuss the scores. i will have to invite you to that though... please let me know
