Hero Factory - Updates and revamps
Because ZORK is not the only MOC I'll update sometimes.
About this creation
This entry contains a few updates and a complete revamp of one of my MOCs. Let's start with the simple updates.

Nebutron

I simply swapped the armour at the hips and at his back around. I did this solely for the sake of poseability, since the spiky armour thingies made it very hard to pose his arms close to his body.

But hey, spikes on your back make you also 20% more evil.

Stormer

I actually mentioned Stormer's update earlier, but since I was going to make a whole revamp post, I thought it would be just fair to include him here too.

Stormer got a few more updates than Nebutron. I switched a few of his shells around (like the silver shells, the printed ones were originally on his shoulders), gave him a bit more white...

...and improved the shoddy poseability of his shoulder-mounted spear launchers!

The improvement itself was rather simple. I added just another pair of bones to it. Sure, it's simple, but it greatly increases their poseability.

It also means it's easier to move them around while they're resting on his back.

But now to the revamp!

Surge

Let me be honest with you, I never really liked my first revamp of Surge. While it was a good solution for the "no hands left" issue, it didn't really felt like Surge to me. So after I got a second Thornraxx (and thus, more azure - please LEGO, make more azure sets!) I decided to revamp him again.

I decided to toss the melee weapon and give Surge just a massive arm cannon. After all, his 2.0 form also had no melee weapon.

And yes, it also makes him look like Mega Man. I'm a huge Mega Man fan, so I couldn't resist it.

This is a picture of the actual construction undereneath the 1.0 torso (which covers the arm cannon quite nicely), just in case you want to know what it does looks like underneath.

Pew pew!
Luckily the one silver hand I got from the Breakout Rocka works great together with the silver launcher.

His back is still the same though.

Since 2 of 3 members of the rookie team were revamped since the original post (Breez was pretty much perfect, unlike her pals), here's a nice revamped group shot of the trio.

I hope you like these updates. And I promise, you'll get more of my new MOCs soon!

Quoting Parakitor (formerly known as Gilkah) Very cool! I love how Surge looks so much like Mega Man. Do you think LEGO should make a Mega Man constraction figure? I thought about submitting it on LEGO Cuusoo, but I don't know how to get started.
I'm not sure how well the aesthetics of Mega Man would work with the LEGO design (partly human construction figures look always a bit odd to me). But in case you didn't knew, there's also a very awesome plastic model kit of Mega Man from Kotobukiya.

Wow, awesome revamps! Although, Neblutron's bottom half is a litttle lare in my opinion. But in this post, Stormer's the coolest. Breez is the best out of all of the revamps though :)
