Previously on The Cult: The recruit has led the team to what was supposed to be a large factory, but is actually a secret base run by black ops units.
About this creation
Black Ops 1: Please, surrender your weapons to us.
Black Ops 1: Don't try to resist; our weaponry and training are far superior to yours.
Dane: We shouldn't have trusted that guy from the mining facility.
Black Ops 1: You, with the black jetpack. Please come here.
Black Ops 1: Take him and his company to the holding cell.
Dane: This is great.
Jensen: They knocked us all out before bringing us here. Who knows where we are now.
Black Ops 1: I need to talk to you guys. Keep your voices down.
Glen: What are you doing? I thought the government was fighting the Shining Path, not helping them!
Black Ops 1: That's what I'm here to talk to you about.
Glen: You mean -?
Black Ops 1: Yes. The government is working with the cult specifically to bring in members of Project IRONHIDE.
Glen: That's all of us!
Black Ops 1: Exactly. The members of IRONHIDE each had a very small part of an artifact engrained in their skulls.
Glen: An artifact?
Black Ops 1: Yeah. The problem is, this one was actually dangerous. The government figured that their new supersoldiers would be a good place to hide it, especially when there were over 200 of these soldiers.
Glen: Why are they fighting against us then?
Black Ops 1: I don't know, but not many people are willing to rebel against the government. I'm one of the few who are. The person who led you here is also one.
Glen: He brought us here?
Black Ops 1: Yes. I needed to talk to you and this was the easiest way. There is already an anti-government organization being formed. It is extremely secretive, and only the most zealous are allowed in. What you need to know is that we are trying to help you escape. You're one of the few people augmented in Project IRONHIDE that are still alive.
Glen: Why weren't we killed right away when we were disarmed?
Black Ops 1: 002 is on a mission right now, so I'm in charge here. I give the orders. But we need to get going now, we won't have another opportunity to escape like this one.

I really like this, but I'm wondering if we could see some more dramatic storytelling angles? Overhead is cool, but readers might like to see other views. ~Dave
Thanks for the tip! I never even thought about that. Unfortunately the remaining episodes in this chapter have been taken using similar views, so there's not much room for improvement until Chapter 2. Thanks for the tip!
