Transformer Rodimus Prime / Hot Rod (mini figure scale / transformable)
This is a Lego Transformer Rodimus Prime / Hot Rod - with mini figure scale and it is fully transformable into robot type.
About this creation

Here is the car type of Rodimus Prime rather than a caravan type I have made, therefore it does not involve combination with the trailer. But it remains most of the characteristic of a Rodimus Prime and Hot Rod on the vehicles mode (Rodimus and Hot Rod are the same character but just the pre / post stage of evolution). It has a turbo air in-take engine, with exhuast pipes on the 2 sides end. The roof got a big decoration rear spoiler.

This time I have used 8 stud wide rather than 6 as the overall width of the car. I believed it is quite suitable because this vehicle is used to be a truck or caravan. Also, in order to match the status of the Rodimus Prime as an Autobot leader, so as to compare the size with Optimus Prime.

Bottom view and no free space inside.

Car doors can be opened and the interior can fit 2 figures.

Roof can be opened upward.

Start to transform!

See the clip is detached with the bar. The exhaust pipe provide transformation and stable functions other than just to produce an outlook. For stable function, it makes the front and the back of the vehicle firm by connecting them together.

Pull out both side of the front of the vehicle and these will be the arms of the robot type.

Then the back of the vehicle will becomes the legs. There is a connecting point within 2 legs to stable the vehicle mode.

Standing up.

The transformation function of the pipes give a sliding system for transforming the part to the robot's arms. It makes the arms shorter in doing this (previously it needs to leave space for the car doors).

The arms transformation is done.

Finally, is the chest of the robot. The car interior parts including the car seat and dash board are folded up.

The head turns out.

Transformation completed!

The robot type look pretty close to the original design which has a slim body.

2 Leaders of Autobot - Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime. I am going to post the Optimus Prime with final modification very soon.

Thank you for watching it!

This is amazing. Transforming LEGO 'bots are hard enough, and at mini fig scale even harder... but on top of that you went and made it look absolutely perfect. (And it seats figs, to boot!) Bravo!
