Quoting T. Young To finish my last WIP which was my overland coaches, i spent over 80 USD on parts. I also used many parts I already owned. The finished cars will be up around maybe 4:30-5 EST, which is when I get home from work. So if you were to say make 3 coaches I think a Lego PAB order would be somewhere around idk say 130 USD depending on how large your collection of Lego is. I would like to see coaches someday for this.
i will see what i can do but for now would you like me to buy the hogwarts castle set a put a track around it?

Quoting T. Young Yes build coaches. But don't do a 6-wide coach. It should be 7 or 8-wide. Also make 'em longer. I cant wait to see the train as you have it.
i only have enough red bricks left to do 1 six wide

Quoting T. Young Oh and if I'm very critical about the train, its just, I'm a perfectionist, so I like it being as close to perfect as possible.
dont worry im a perfectionist also!

Quoting T. Young You should add new pictures as a new page. That way people will see your updates without looking back here.
that is what I will do as the loco and tender are now finished and it has the wheels fitted! it will be up soon by the way do you think i should build some coaches to go with it?

Yeah the funnel idea you have is just too large on the top. There are a few Lego elements that have a tapered edge like you need.

Quoting T. Young Oh and also I do not like your funnel design. The top flange is too large.
the reason i do it like that is to make it look more tapered but i can change it if you want

Hmm sorry not sure. Havent ordered from them. But Im sure its on its way. And yea you should wait for the wheels to build as the wheels on the train go into the frame a bit.

Quoting T. Young Nice but I would start with the frame and wheels and then build the boiler and cab. A bit hard to judge size without wheels. But the 7 wide is interesting. I strictly build 8 wide to allow larger interiors but I should try a 7 wide sometime. I cant wait to see more of this.
im glad you like this so far it is going to take a while though. i have been waiting for my big ben bricks for 5 days how long will it take for them to arrive? and i live in the UK
