About this creation

Well those of you who know me well know I'm not known to build system well but here I am with a castle of my own. The reason behind this moc is that I was over at my grandparents house and my cousin who was formerly a lego nut convinced them to buy helms deep for me and him to build with when we're over staying at their house. They already had an old Castle set so this was a great addition to the piece reserve. This time I believe I have topped my cousin's creation (he built mostly system and still has one sick Bugatti veyron) which is quite a feat for me. Anyway onto quite possibly my best system creation! (Not saying much cause this is the second one I've posted)

Here's our guard protecting the entrance to the mighty castle.

The waterfall. I know it could have been better but I did have limited pieces.

Looking back i'm not so sure I like those plant pieces anymore.

Sorry about the photography. No lighting and a iPhone camera are a recipe for bad pictures.

Now for the interior! (The fun part)

First off i'm really proud of this floor. When I was detailing this I was thinking about flooring when the idea struck me that in medieval castles they have stonebrick floors and this was born!

A prison with skeletons and some living prisoners.

This guy liked monkey bars.

A spiral staircase.

Next floor.

Just incase you want to throw some leftovers to your prisoners.

Gimli... I mean a short guy standing by the river that feeds the waterfall.

The dining hall. I love the wood floor here.

Second floor has the old king and his armour on it's various stands and holders.

The third floor has the princess and her drink by the fire place.

And of course the turret.

And one more shot of the stone detail. I love how the sand green adds so much detail.

And here is some poor fellow who drowned in the river.

Using masonry bricks for a stone floor is an awesome idea. Also, I love how much more to this creation there was when it was turned around. I first thought that it was just a castle on a cliff, but it was a castle build deep into the cliff. Great work.

Great work! I love the detail in the prison floor and the sheer size of this MOC! The one thing that looks out of place is the one white stud in the river. I know it's ment to be bubbles, but that kind of detail only works when there are lots of them. And the prisoners don't look very... Medieval like... otherwise, great job! :D
