About this creation
The next of my guns. Desert Eagle Semi auto Brick shooter (SCWV1) (Snow Camo Working Version 1). Yes its in snow camo. Which I have to say is better than my first attempt at snow camo. (Lever action rifle). Now if this gun looks familiar, thats because the main gun is Jack Streat's I found the iructions through NicklL0809. I then modified this design to be semi automatic. Video of this gun can be found at the bottom of the page.

I tried something different with this photo shoot. I added a red backdrop to make the snow camo stand out better. The handle is not snow camo because if you drop this in the snow, you want to be able to find it.

The mag will hold 8 "bullets" which makes it a .44mag.. I usually load 6-7 which makes it a .50 AE :D Seriously tho, 6-7 "bullets" is easier for the mag spring. Note, the red pieces are part of the mag, and not bullets.

The slide does work, but doesn't move when shooting. (Too much friction) I use it mostly to clear jams and such.

"tactical" knife... really just a cheap survival knife.

One of my favorite pictures.

Standard iron sights. I made them trans green so they are easier to see.

The "simple" mechanism. I put simple in quotes, because the mech is simple, but the time it took to get it to work right was anything but. Spent quite a while getting the design right. I think I went through 5 different prototypes.

Slide open, and mag out.

The actual firing power is the rubber band on the side. You can also see the slide lock. The side lock doesn't work as well as the original gun, but some things must be sacrificed. Another hard thing was to get the trigger to come away from the trigger guard, but still be able to have the range of motion I needed.

Close up of the semi auto mech. I actually got the idea for this mech when I was attempting to make a brick shooting revolver. This gun works way better than the revolver.

Mags much? I made three mags. For a semi auto gun, that is ok. Semi autos seem to go through the ammo faster than any other action besides fully auto. Yes the one on the right doesn't have a rubber band, it broke just before I took photos.

Mags, and ammo.

Loaded mags.

Back of the gun

Looking down the barrel. GUN SAFETY tip of the day: DO NOT look down the barrel of ANY gun. Especially to see if it is loaded. To see if it is loaded, pull out the magazine, or open the action. If you have no clue how to operate those, ask the owner of the gun. If you are the owner of the gun, and/or you do not know what the words "action" and "magazine" refer to, SET THE GUN DOWN, and go to your local shooting range, or gun dealer to find a class on gun safety. NOW! ~Thank you~

Top of the gun.

Gun "field striped"

Top with slide off.

This is my new official Snow camo emblem. A snow flake with a 'C' in the middle. It appears in the title photo top right hand corner.

Personally I like this photo.

First person view. Very hard to hold the camera and take this shot by your self.

VIDEO:

Thanks for looking, and keep your eye out for Desert Eagle (SCWV2). I'm going to modify it to be stronger.

Quoting Ted Choi I love the deagle!! In my opinion, it is better then streaty's deagle! P.S Please send the instructions at tchoi1004@gmail.com
Thanks, that means a lot to me. I'm trying to figure out how to upscale this to put in a AR type rifle. The only problem I'm having is trying to get the bolt to come back.

Quoting bear brother Continue to improve pistol mech. .22 caliber is not aloud in my country. This is why I bought this 0.177 caliber air rifle. 1200 fps. ( utg 3-9x32) http://s40.radikal.ru/i087/1208/02/dc38a0c87b07.jpg
That looks like a pretty nice gun. .22 is not allowed in your country? Where are you from?

Quoting Ian Spacek I don't know if this was intentional, but the use of the white/light blay gives the illusion that the gun is shiny silver. Brilliant! From the first picture, I thought you'd just used chrome bricks.
That was not intentional, good eye. It does appear to be shiny. A chrome version of this gun would be pretty cool, and expensive...
Quoting Bear Brother What is the rifle on your back? :3. Is it air rifle or airsoft? What optics? And is it your face? :) look at my lego Barrett. There are 2 new(old) photos.
Air rifle? air soft? What are these things? No I go for the real stuff... it's my .22 and it has a 9X40 scope on it. (Dead on up to 100yards or at least thats my farthest shot with it yet) Yes that is me, I was debating weather or not to put this picture up.

Quoting DeTomaso Pantera I'm not really a fan of replica LEGO guns, they are killing machines after all. I can appreciate the complexity of the build though.
Thanks for the comment! I really appreciate comments from people that are not fans of guns.
Quoting Matthew K Looks cool. Please checkout mine, I built the same gun and I added things to mine that I think you can use on that to reinforce it. ;)
I did look at your gun, and those are some very nice reinforcements you have added.

Quoting Chris Melby Dude, as I've always said, if your going to pack heat, pack some HEAT! Excellent build, and the camo turned out great! Chris
Thanks Chris, I would much rather have this gun than a wimpy 9mm.
Quoting Noah the LEGO Apprentice This is amazing! Despite you saying it's "simple", this is as complicated to me as...well...something that's complicated (to me). Interesting bullets by the way, never seen a LEGO gun shoot with bullets like that before. -Noah
Thanks! It really is simple. These type of bullets work better for a lego handgun, they can fit in a smaller mag.
Quoting Fritz K This is just too cool, George! The proportions are correct, and the accuracy is amazing. Shooting-wise, and the actual gun-wise! ;D Anyway, this is fantastic, and I think when you build in this genre your creations turn out very well. I want to see more guns! ;)
Thanks Fritz! I will do more guns, they take a while to build.
Quoting MortalSwordsman Not really into guns but I must admit this looks excellent and very clever. Love that last photo.
Thanks, M! It's always great to hear from you!
